A Room Full of Cocks Crowing: The End of the Piscean Age

article-2276884-17832D42000005DC-528_634x423I can think of no other more appropriate transition from the Piscean age, which began approximately 2000 years ago when christianity established itself as a spiritual authority (the phrase itself is an oxymoron as there is no authority within spirituality, only within artificial religions) and the Aquarian age, which faces us now and begs us to accept and traverse unknown territory.

The current Pope’s resignation is symbolic of the millenia-old patriarchal and hierarchical culture of control, violence, deceit, perversions and total cowardice, established during the beginning of the Piscean age, that must crumble and fall if we are to enter into the Age of Aquarius with any awareness and wakefulness at all.

The current demise of that outdated culture/structure (Pluto in Capricorn now), founded 2000 years ago, during which the authority of Western males was firmly established to the detriment of female wisdom, personal authenticity, peaceful relationships with others and the desire to acknowledge individual talents in service to the greater whole, is one to be celebrated.

These red cocks wearing their girlish costumes (which once belonged to the province of temple priestesses – now aped in bizarre frocks worn by men and demeaned by them), must be cast aside if we are to enter into the Aquarian concepts of community, right relationships and the attainment of higher Mind.

Aquarians are all about creativity of the Mind and individual expression of personal, spiritual meaning, and we must all yield to their heralding changes.  In the same light, we must acknowledge those of Piscean heritage who will usher out the last two millenia of travesty that began with our age.  Sorrow and the transmission of learned lessons are what those born in Pisces (and/or those with charts heavy in Pisces/Calypso/Chiron) have to hold during this transition.  WE do know the wounds inflicted over this past era and we can, indeed, communicate the errors of those ways.

The skirted, poof-ball perverts of the Catholic Church, which established extraordinarily ridiculous theories and behaviors at the beginning of the Piscean age, have led us all astray during these two millennia of their rule in left-brain, boy thought, orthodox behavior for far too long.  When I use the word “poof ball,” I am not referring to someone’s sexual orientation (though these guys have some serious hangups in general around sexuality);  I am referring to a person’s utter lack of courage, honesty and integrity.  The word is actually the informal name of a member of the edible fungi family – a mushroom.  They are usually round and are distinguished by their ephemeral, fragile structure.  If one squeezes a poof ball, millions of spores “poof” from its insides, after which it collapses.  So, originally, referring to someone as a poof ball did mean that they were a lot of air with very little substance.

Let’s all watch the pope run and hide just as the Church’s dirty laundry is washing in on the tide.  I see there is a reason to thank Pluto for her revelations of secrets and lies at this time, as well as her influences in the collapse of useless structures.

What shall happen as Calypso, the true ruler/goddess of the seas and oceanic spirituality of the people (mis-named by males as Neptune) moves through Pisces over the next 10 years, will be the drowning of those patriarchal robes, ermine capes and false red slippers in the waters of transformation.  Dorothy, where are you and will you please, for all of us, click your ruby sequined slippers?  We are being asked to realize that there is, indeed, no place like home and I hope we can all begin to awaken and recognize the true members of our small communities once again.  And, it is going to take diligence and work on the part of us all.

If any of those red-capped boys were at all functioning out of honesty or integrity, they would immediately suspend the upcoming joke of “choosing a new Pope,”  throw up their hands and say, “We failed.  Most miserably, in a quest for spirituality.”  Each and every one of them would resign if they had any conscience.

Alas, no, they will, even in the face of all facts as to their pedophilic, bank fraudulent and corrupt behaviors, try to pump themselves up like adolescent boys on viagra.  We should all laugh and walk away from their theatrical gesticulations at this point.  The emperors/popes are all, indeed, rendered naked.  Better for all of us to simply turn away as they embarrass themselves once again before humanity.  It is the polite thing to do, though politeness is far more than any of them deserve. Full Moon March 8, 2012

This Full Moon, at 1:39AM PST, should inspire a very beautiful, resonant sound in all of us.  At its exactitude, we have a Grand Trine in the Earth signs:  Moon/Mars in Virgo in the 8th house, Jupiter/Venus in Taurus in the 4th house and Pluto in Capricorn in the 1st.  And all held within the open palm of the Sun in Pisces/Calypso, goddess and knower of deep emotion and the hidden depths of our souls.

Astronomically, the conjunction of Jupiter and Venus through the month of March (exact on March 13 at about 10PM PST) will be the most spectacular for years to come.  They both appear together even now very brightly in the Western sky just after sunset – two beacons of beauty and benevolence that are stunning to see.  They will remain visible through the month of March and will return as lovers again in May when they take up their duet in Gemini, but more on that later.

Surfing the Trine: September 10-16, 2011

The Pluto/Jupiter/Mercury grand trine in the earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo, respectively) that came into its full strength (using 8 degree orbs) on September 10 and exerts its strongest influence through the 16th of this month is an excellent time to make use of the harmonious energetics of the two spiritual/soul-level planets (the outer planets, here Pluto and Jupiter, which form the major themes of an individual chart) as they channel down into the personal and mundane, here escorted onto terra firma by the zippy activities of Mercury in the areas of communication, commerce and all that moves in and around our lives. With Mercury, these movements occur at both the physical and psychic levels and, with Jupiter and Pluto involved, one should be looking for shifts in our larger spiritual interpretations of life.

Pressing the Pause Button

Playful Love

Thank you to my readers for continuing to visit my blog, though my writing has been sparse of late.  That is temporary and the result of an impending move.  Packing and continuing consulting sessions are all that are on my plate for the moment.  I am appreciative of the fact that readers are using the down time to read older posts.

The mundane tasks of sorting through clothing, silverware and books does provide open time for reflection and dream time.  The dissolution of my current home has left me with ample hours to muse on these Neptunian and Plutonic times of discovering and uncovering my own (as one small part of our collective unconscious) deepest secrets and dissolving old forms of thought, assumptions and structures for conducting our lives (Neptune in Aquarius, Pluto in Capricorn, both retrograde at the moment {as are Chiron, Uranus and Mercury as well})  Reflection and review of both our personal and collective epochal themes are the order of the day.

The Perfect Storm

Arrival

Neptune has just touched down on the waters of our collective unconscious in the sign of Pisces.  That meeting place on the surface, however, is full of turbulent weather and our collective landing is not over as of yet.  Imagine coming in for a touch down in a two-seater Cessna plane somewhere in the Southeast United States during a huge thunderstorm.  Hands steady on the controls, here, as a sudden downdraft can catch our wings and slam us into the tarmac.  With the planets in their current configuration, this possibility is very real.

I offer this fractal image as a focal point for meditation on the higher spiritual purpose of our current situation.  Turbulent above, luminescent and directed below.  The transition is tricky.  The structures of the world, all the way down to our tectonic plates, are changing.   This change will continue and April has the potential for serious disturbance on the physical plane.  If we keep our eye internally directed, as the Hermit in deep solitude and reflection, we will be all right.  If we thrash about in the flotsam and jetsam of these times we do have every chance of successfully drowning ourselves.

Secure Your Diving Belt: Chiron Descending

Jupiter has led the way in our transition of the larger, thematic planets in our Spring-time group transition from above to below and vice versa. Ruler of Sagittarius and Pisces, Jupiter’s purpose is to propel us into higher states of spiritual awareness and communal consciousness.  And, in the fire sign of Aries, its trajectory into the atmosphere promises to be vigorous and goal-oriented.  Our job here below is to exercise caution in the speed and direction of this god of fire and water, lest it either destroy both friend and foe in its wake, or overrun itself and use up its energy too quickly.  Competitive long-distance runners call this phenomenon “hitting the wall,” and, unable to keep pace with the stresses and strains accumulated from starting out too fast, melt into a puddle of wobbly muscles on the side lines.  Letting Jupiter reach its zenith in good time will result in a wondrous 4th of July sparkle of good fortune and benefit for all.

Fasten Your Seatbelts: Jupiter Ascending

Imbolc, St. Brigid’s Day, Chinese New Year, Ground Hog Day.  All of these are the different cultural traditions which mark our half-way point between our Winter Solstice and Vernal Equinox.

This Swing into Spring is all about switching gears in very significant ways and it is helpful to remember we have now moved into the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese Tradition.  Rabbit represents the Moon, which is the yin of Heaven. Moon also rules the core of our internal self and our emotional life so we have an opportunity to channel through us these deeply felt, though ungraspable, elements into the world this year.  Rabbit influences the nervous system and we can key into calming this aspect of ourselves so we can contact our higher feeling states as we move forward.

This is a fitting coincidence when placed in relationship to the celestial transitions taking place overhead as we pass through the end of one year and into the new.  Elemental transitions of major planets abound throughout this season and one should watch for the changes in how our core themes will be filtered through different  lenses.
